I have read that it is worth changing the fuel pipe on a Tuscan with marine grade between the filter and fuel tank. What diameter and length of pipe do you need to replace this and how easy is it to do?

Mine was starting to perish so i replaced with "13mm / 1/2" I.D MARINE A1 FUEL HOSE ISO7840 PETROL DIESEL (#250485527524)" from an ebay shop.

Be prepared it sounds straight forward but it was a pig of a job...

Do you have to remove the fuel tank or can you get to the pipe from under the car? I can see the fuel filter, but can't see the other end.

Will you need to purchase a new gasket for the fuel tank connector when disconnecting and changing the pipe?

dont need to remove the tank there is a large grommet (about 3 inches across) that covers the fitting on the bottom of the tank...i didnt need a new gasket, but i had to take out some of the fibreglass around the pipe as the marine hose is a lot stiffer and cant be bent round corners!! had to re-seal with silicone sealant...
