I've noticed that when locking the Tuscan, I get different responses. Sometimes I just get two flashes of the indicators, other times I get four flashes with a bleep at each flash. It doesn't seem to be related the fobs (I have two), and I don't think I'm doing anything different when I lock the car (although I may be inadvertently).

Anyone know whay this is happening, and what the significance is of the diffeent responses?

I think it beeps when the window encoders are still engaged, its an error beep, but it still arms, its just delayed whilst the windows rise and encoders switch off.

If you wait until the window leds go off - it wont happen

(...i think!)

I agree it's when a window is open but it closes anyway when arming so no worries.

I always get 2 flashes of the indicators when locking the car and 1 when unlocking. However, sometimes I get the bleep, sometimes I dont. No idea why. Could be because of the windows.

Also, I read in a forum that if you have the roof off, to lock the car and activate the alarm without it going off when air blows in the cabin, you have to keep the button pressed for a few seconds continuously.. You then get more flashes I think. I am 2000 miles away from the car at the moment to try, but I will when I am back over the weekend...
