Clutch slave cylinder.

My slave cylinder is leaking and needs to be replaced, anyone know if there is an up rated one? And is it replaced by removing the gear box or does the engine have to come out?

How long has your clutch been in? If it's done anywhere near 20k miles it's worth considering swapping while you're in there, especially as finger failure can trash the slave if it goes through the middle.

It's done 26k as far as I know on the same clutch. Is there one that over comes the problem of the old clutch?

The latest AP unit supplied by TVR Power is supposed to be better than earlier units and works ok with the Raceproved slave.

Raceproved rebuild clutch packs with modified parts. I've heard good and bad things but no personal experience as they didn't have any available when I needed a replacement a few months back. I understand they will only supply and fit now though, as they reckon some of the earlier issues have been down to initial set up when fitted by other places.

Make sure you put a clutch in to ,i made that mistake.TVR power i got mine from with the slave to.
