Locked Out - Flat Battery

Hi,
I have been away on holdiday for 2 weeks and out of the country for 3 weeks before that with work, I just went to take the car for a run but I cannot open the door, and it is parked in the garrage close to the wall and cannot get to the battery.
I thought I knew the "Secret" way of getting in so that I can roll the car out to get the wheel off but I am struggeling to get in.
Could someone please PM me the way, preferrable someone who has tried and succeeded in getting in.

Battery conditioners are all well and good for a car that is garaged. Unfortunately for me, the other car is the one that gets locked up in the dry (with a battery conditioner I hasten to add)!
Not to worry - I had a chat with the guys at Promax and they have sorted me out. Turns out there is something that you need to know before trying the deadlocks.... nuff said I guess!

Is there no way you can use a conditioner? When my last toy lived outside on the drive I was able to run a conditioner by extending the leans on the conditioner and running them into the boot (they just get pinched up on the seal).Not to worry - I had a chat with the guys at Promax and they have sorted me out. Also you can get solar poowered trickle chargers (they may be crap, I dont know)
The problem with the Tuscan is that 3 weeks is a long time as the alarm seems to eat the battery. (My 16 is fine for over 6 weeks)
Solar powered would be an excellent idea but I've not heard reports (good or bad) from anyone using them so far. Has anyone tried it ?
I saw on TG at the weekend that hideous Nissan Leaf has a Solar powered accessory charger mounted on the rear "spoiler", so perhaps they are now good enough to use for trickle charging. Good idea....not thought of that!
Oh - by the way.....I managed to stumble into the wrong part of the PH forums here! I guess thats what you get when you use the google site search. Also I guess its why I frightened some of you into thinking I was a car thief after ideas on how to break in a Tuscan!

Maplins do several solar chargers for cars.
I use several to top up my various classics I cantt drive all of them at once. Depends on good light conditions front of windscreen in car is ideal as the weatherproofing of the panels could be better.
Bound to be a Maplins near you they have one on offer at £9.99 but if you pay more you get more performance. My classics do NOT generally have alarms on so the constant drain is absent.
They do work and I have no connection with Maplins other than buying from them.

I tried a solar charger for my Mk1 Tuscan which alsways had a dead battery when left in an Airport car park for 2 to 3 weeks.
It was no good but I cant remember the make, model etc. so not much help.
I'll be back in the UK on Friday and will have a look.

I seem to remember that the Battery Brain was being sold at the NEC classics show last year at a bit of a discount. Will have to keep an eye out for this and decide which way to go.
So - I guess there are quite a few options out there to look into - Solar Battery conditioner, Battery Brain, Good old fashioned Battery Isolator switch, Mains Trickle charger.

I went to fire it up to let it tick over for a while - but....
The battery is dead and I cant get in it. I've tried to use the key in the door lock but I assume the deadlocks are keeping me out!

I've never worked on one so I don't know if this will work but it's something handy to know anyway.
Sometimes you can get another battery and a set of jump leads, reach underneath and hook the postitive to the thick positive wire on the starter motor. Hook the negative to an earth, any piece of unpainted metal, gearbox usually does the trick.
This puts power into the cars electrical system and lets you operate the locking system to get into the car.
