Well I never. Who'd have thought that TVR would think of that !

I'm in ! Yey !

Starts AOK with booster, so time for a new battery - this one seems to be 4 years old.

Many thanks to the man who PM'd me !

I dread this happening to me. My mk2 S is kept in my garage and there's no room to get around it, so I would have to push the car out of the garage to get to the jump point. I also keep my Anderson jump leads in the boot, so it would be very helpful to know how I could get in the car or boot if I get a flat battery.

I had a Chimaera before the Tuscan and known how to get in that with a flat battery, but I'd stuck if it happens with the Tuscan.

I would be very gratefull if you could possibly PM me with these details.

Thanks smile

I've had a flat battery, had to jack the car up in the car park, remove the wheel and jump-start it with the wheel off. Pretty precarious on a cheap jack borrowed off a laguna!

Would someone be able to PM me the emergency entry method? Much appreciated!

I've since invested in a new battery and an Anderson lead.

Hi All, first post and one that seems to be covered in plenty of detail.... or not enough! Gaining access via the boot... But Im buggered if I can find the cxxxx so if anyone can give me a hint as to what it looks like that would be great (PM please) May be worth noting that the passenger door entry has packed up at the same time and Im told that this is connected to the boot as well so Im assuming some sort of joint controller has packed up. The worst bit is the roof is off and in the boot! With the Anderson lead and the Battery booster!! I think I need to change this arrangement.
I have a 2004 MK1 Tuscan if that makes any difference to what Im looking for?
Many thanks
Brian

lads,
not sure if this will be of help but i have one anyway,
you can buy jump leads of ebay that works from the cigerette lighter no need to attach to battery just lighter socket to lighter socket.
could save messing about with trying to get to battery

You learn for next time. Since my battery went flat last year, and some kind gent PM'd me the secret way, I now carry a "tool" on me, so at least I can get to what I need to in order to get at my jump leads !

I'm not sure the cigarette lighter wiring is rated for jumping the car. Do check first!

If the roof is off, can you reach the ignition? If so, then just remove the front offside wheel to gain access to the battery hatch and stick some normal jump leads directly to the battery.

Thanks but my problem isn't the battery being flat.... The boot won't open so I need the emergency entry to manually release it so that I can sort it out. Somebody has said that there is an anti hijack button which sits next to the immobiliser, if it's pressed it stops the boot and passenger door entry working so I'm going to see if I can find that switch tomorrow.... Anybody else heard of this?

Yep, the button is actually the flashing red light. Press it and you'll see it's a button.

Always thought the doors operated as normal once the alarm had been deactivated. Might be wrong though.

By the way Brian, for obvious reasons us owners are a little cautious giving out the emergency entry procedure to people we don't know too well. I can understand this is a bit frustrating because I am sure you are a genuine owner also, but please bear with us. It's a bit like us telling a stranger where we keep our hidden back door key biggrin

Welcome to PH, regrettably that ain't gonna happen. Why? This is your first post and you ask for emergency entry information.

and the thread before yours sums it up in a nut shell.

Suggest you contact the garage you bought it from or the previous owner.
