My drivers side main headlight (not the high beam) is way higher than the passenger side. I tried to adjust today but could only see two left and right adjusters. how do I lower it? Am I missing a third screw or is it just hard to get to?? I can see the high beam has three adjusters but not the main beam.

On my Mk.1 there are three off adjusting 'bolts/screws' arranged around the circumference of the light unit.
One at 12-o-clock, the others at 4 and 8-o-clock respectively. They do get corroded even though they are sheradised, so a spray with WD-40 or similar helps to get them moving.

IIRC the main and dip units are the same.

As others have said, turn the 2 screws which then pulls or pushes the light in different directions. Here is a thread I started a while back for the alignment numbers. and another thread with a link to the MOT manual
