oil temp sender

does anybody know where the oil temp sender is located on the S6? mine is giving high readings and just wondered if there is a loose or high resistance connection.

Hi Alan
it`s on the bottom of the oil tank, two wires "siliconed" in to it can be seen best from the offside with bonnet off.
