What useful stuff should I keep in the boot?
Discussion
Coming from a VX220 its a real novelty to be able to keep stuff in the boot!
I have a small bag with useful stuff - torch, warning triangle, kitchen roll (for checking oil), oil, warm kit, decent garage addresses, camera (if involved in accident).
I was also thinking of useful spares to put in (I often do long journeys):
Throttle Cable
bulbs
Can anyone think of anything else worthwhile stocking up on?

What does a repair kit do that a new cable does not?
Is it not just a well to hold a new cable?
By jump leads I assume you mean Anderson connector ones...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TVR-TUSCAN-JUMP-LEADS-SAGARI...
They are not cheap for just a simple leads + connector!!
I have a charging port in the car (simple clip connection) - I'm assuming I cannot jump start it through this - probably melt!

Are the oil sender units about £50? I've not heard of these going - are they a roadside fix?
Tyre pumps - are cheap ebay ones sufficient?

Lets you slide it through the sheath from one end, rather than having to fit an whole new inner and outer at the roadside. Is it not just a well to hold a new cable?

Not cheap, but pretty essential. If you can be bothered you can buy all the bits you need pretty cheaply. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TVR-TUSCAN-JUMP-LEADS-SAGARI...

Some of those charge/start packs can work through the cigarrette lighter, but you can't put a lot of current through them, it relies on charging your battery rather than jump starting.
Cheers,
