Just got back from the TVR Centre to get a slight rough idle problem sorted (needed throttle pots adjusting) and it's now running incredibly. Feels so smooth!

They also fixed a few very minor cosmetic niggles out for me - top blokes.

Just thought I'd share my happiness as usually it's all doom and gloom around here! Also saw two other Tuscans on my travels which makes the day even better.

mine seems to have to same problem i think. can you elaberate more about the problem you had? think mine is desperate for throttles to be set up

Originally it used to idle around 800-900rpm.

About 2 weeks ago it started to drop the idle revs until it was struggling around 500-600rpm. When starting I had to give it a bit of gas to stop stalling... also felt slightly 'lumpy' when driving in 1st and 2nd gear at low revs.

Take it in and they'll check it with the ECU diagnostics software then adjust the throttle pots. It's about a 15 minute job!

Just balanced my throttle bodies up and reset the adaptives and throttle pots, then went out for a run and all is sweet, they seem to go off after a while (only my view).

They need doing every 3k or so.

Just for info., but the older Tuscans, mine is a 2000, dont have bushings in the throttle bodies for the butterfly shafts.
End result is wear which results in lumpy running.
Mine was "quite bad" with 75k on the clock.
Its now cured with a roller bearing upgrade.
Runs lik a dream now.

It's Reflex Green!

I think Chameleon Green is more of a lighter blue/green whereas the Reflex is more blue/green/purple. They had a lovely Chameleon one in there a few weeks back - I think it was a customer's though. Had a distinctive plate which I can't remember now!

Hi tvr center is in barnet about 10 mins from m25
took my tuscan there about 10 days ago with a coolant leak would go there again they were realy helpfull and didnt mind when i asked loads of questions as only had car a short while.
