Bought the New P&J a few weeks ago and everything going quite well.

I do have a question regarding main beam though. The Main beam seems very poor indeed, the lights are bright but more like infill spot lights, barely reachin in front of the car? The Main beams are the lower lights and they seem to have a little side light in them? The upper lights are dipped beam and have a very good spread of light, though yellower than the Main Beam.

Are they wired the correct way round and if not where do I start looking?

Hi there,

Yep, that seems about right. They're wired the correct way - you can upgrade them to Xenons which people have done and said there's a big difference. I've got them as standard on mine and they're very bright. I find the dipped beams aren't that great but they do the job!

Thanks BigJL. I suspected as much as the Chimaera has shocking headlights as well.

I'll add that to the list of upgrades then!
