Good year Eagle F1 tyres 255-35-ZR 18

Does anyone know where I can source some Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres 255-35-ZR 18 for my Tuscan MK1. I have tried mytyres, blackcircles and a few others but no ZR tyres.
Could someone also clarify that the Tuscan S uses 255/35/18 all round? I would look at the tyres on the car but I haven't driven it yet, it's up at TVR Power at the moment having some work done. Any ideas and info greatly appreciated, Thanks! Mike

I've got the same problem. A did a bit of googling and found these guys but haven't found out whether they really have any.

I ordered my pair from Camskill last month. They were out of stock on back order from any other supplier I tried.
Bought from Camskill for £133 each (inc VAT and delivery)- fantastic price! Your local tyre centre should charge between £10 and £15 for fitting and disposal of the old tyres. Since then I have order tyres for my other car from camskill.
I cannot recommend camskill enough. Very reasonable price, quick delivery and great customer service.

I am trying to find one tyre with the ZR rating and old tread pattern. I have been offered three but need to source a fourth.

If your fronts are OK,Why don't you put 225/40s on the front and use your front 255/35s on the rear....I find my Mk2 drives much better with 225s on the front and 255s on the rear and all the MK2 press cars at TVR were fitted with 225s on the front. Far less tramlinning...apparantly it was Wheeler who liked big fat tyres on the front not the designers. Also think you'll get 225s easier and cheaper since they're used by more cars.

Thats interesting, I'm currently running 255's all round and Ian at RVT thought the car drove better than cars with 225's on the front. He thought the car tramlined less.Edited by glow worm on Monday 23 June 18:17
I guess the tramlining depends on a few things including tyres and geometry settings. Having not driven a car with 225's, then I can't personally comment from my own experience.
I do agree with Wheeler though, the cars look better with the bigger tyres on the front.

Sorry if I pipped you to the post, I was surprised they were still for sale when I asked. Made the 6 hour round trip to collect on Tuesday evening.

Can't be long now before she's back on the road. My advice is keep the 40 profile on the front. I also kept the 245's on the front to give it a bit more balance. If you go for the 35's on the front it will tramline and hug every white line. People I've spoken to have regretted putting 35's on the front because of this reason.
