Hi guys, it was my other half's TVR.

Some numpty in a dark coloured Mondeo pulled over from the outside lane without looking and side swiped the back quarter forcing him off the road into the ditch it then rebounded out back onto carriage way.

John is fine and walked away with just aches and pains. Car totalled.

B**&*8rd didn't stop though, and other witnesses didn't get his registration number so anyone out there knows of a dark coloured Mondeo with nearside front end damaged and multi coloured paint on it can they let us & the police know!

Really sorry to hear your bad news, not surprised you're gutted.

At least John walked away, could have been worse!

Good idea - that's got to be a possibility surely......

John & Zoe - so sorry to hear this news. Relieved you're okay J. Would it be worth posting this on General TVR Gossip too? Maximise the lookout for the 'Mondeo'.......

I was about 15 cars behind after the accident. I am afraid I didn't see the Mondeo. Sorry I can't help.

The main thing is that you are ok. Hopefully no stiff neck today

That is what I felt as I drove past. Such a shame to see a future classic in that state. Cars are like dogs - you love them to bits, then they get written off/put down - sometimes wonder if it is all worth it....... but....... you always get another!

Here's to the driver - glad your ok, mate beer

Sorry to hear your terrible news but glad to hear you're OK. I was involved in a similar incident in my P&J nearly 4 weeks so I know exactly what you're going through.

Everybody tells you to be thankful you walked away but once you've dealt with that you're just soooo p*ssed off with the tw*t who caused it and about the loss of your P&J. I'm lucky I guess that the idiot who caused mine had an attack of conscience and eventually called the police. Hope you find the other driver and that you're back in the Tuscan saddle ASAP!
