I know it's a common problem but I'm wondering if it's something that can be fixed or needs a total replacement at a cost of around £140.

The Tuscan I'm buying has developed 2 lines at the bottom of the display since being put in the garage yesterday having been driven in the rain - apparently this can be the cause?

If the problem can be fixed how much does it cost?
