Armageddon With A Sprinkling of Apocalypse
Discussion
Hello, it seems that I could only stop away for a short while before I had to get another TVR - so now I'm back, this time with a Tuscan S.
This one's a classy colour combo that lulls you into a false sense of security ready for the onslaught from its outrageous de-cat sleeved exhaust sound - which is something like armageddon with a sprinkling of apocalypse. Fantastic.
Some familiar issues, some not so familiar, all minor so far - hope it stops that way; Guess I'll be fiddling at the week-end... if I can stop
it for long enough!

Undo these, lift of the tunnel cover - you'll need to unplug the cable that connects the window and heater controls to the car. You should then be able to lift up the gear lever gaitor and see the gear shaft going into the gearbox. On the drivers side (IIRC) there is a bracket holding a ball and plunger assembly - this is the reversing switch. You'll have to fiddle on your own from here (oh err missus) as I've not needed to adjust mine. I'd suggest selecting reverse and adjusting the bracket until the switch activates. If you manage this ok, post up some pikkies please.

nice one, I'll a fiddle over the week-end and post pix of the selector and the car.
best get some pix up quick while it still looks like it should - some blind deaf woman driver in a discovery tried to side-swipe me at the end of the M32 tonight (I'm not being blind/deaf/sex-ist, just picking out the obvious characteristics for descriptive purposes). I must have my cloak of invisibility turned on, anyone know how to turn it off?

Well mate, to avoid this dangerous experience in the future, just push the very right one of the pedals (throttle) on the driver's side foot-room with your right foot. This will create at least some 82db (non de-catted version) of noise in a 1 mile circle around you - waking up any sleeping drivers ;-)
A safety feature by the way, not even Volvo offers these days !
cheers,
Funky Jo
