Pod function "fast mode" or "slow mode"

Just discovered this today whilst adjusting my shift light settings.

I doesn't mention it in the hand book but you can toggle between fast and slow.

Can anyone shed any light on this setting?

It's the update speed for the information displayed on the pod.

Setting to 'SLOW' may help smooth out any 'noise' from the sensors.

Just personal preference really...

Mine is on a snails go slow. especially when cold. Takes about a minute to clear after start up and then the rev counter is always 10sec behind. Think i need a new screen but cant be arsed to send the car in for a new one at the moment. Anyone else come across this?
