First check and make sure there is 12v on one of the wire cores, if so then your lambda is almost certainly goosed. If no 12v then check fuse and connectors, you could temporarily swop the connectors to see if the lambda is working or not. Don't forget to label the connectors to avoid getting them mixed up.
If you need a replacement get the proper type, Trackcar posted up a while back that the probes for the TVR are specials in order to handle the excessive heat soak.

I swapped them over this morning a few times and double-checked on the voltages/resistance/connections etc - certainly seems that #1 probe is knackered. (Finally) managed to take the blasted thing out..
Is that just your connectors that are heat-wrapped or does it go down right to the probe?
