Mk1 Pod Display

I occasionally get one line of the LCD display going off for a couple of minutes then it seems to be ok for a while.

Any idea’s whether this is a poor connection or the build up to a complete failure?

More than likely to be a prelude to it getting progressively worse. Is it the original unit? Mine went like that at about 20K miles so I changed it for a replacement/upgraded unit, been fine ever since.
