Pulsing Lights
Discussion
Noticed a little while ago that my lights 'pulse' as if the alternator is putting out an uneven current/voltage. The higher the engine revs the faster the pulse. According to the readout it's putting out up to 14.7 volts with no obvious fluctuation but I suspect that the pulsing is quicker than the sensor/readout could react.
Any ideas?

had the alternator changed and it is as good as gold now, 14v pretty constant, no pulsing. As it got worse it started to affect the actual running/idling of the engine so soonest fixed is best I think.Andy
PS: Looked like a pig of a job to do actually.....glad I decided to get it done by a man with all the right tools..
Local auto electrical specialist wanted £220 + for an 'original Magneti Marelli' item, tvrparts say theirs (unbranded) work fine so at £130 I've gone for that.
Thing is my old one was apparently rated at 120 amps. I thought they were all 100 amps?
