Tuscan 2 - what's the DNA?

Hi all

Having seen an immaculate Tuscan 2 at Helmingham and thinking 'hmmm must have one of those one day', I've been wondering what's under the skin of the Tuscan 2? Is it essentially the T350 chassis, or is it closer to the Sagaris? Or is it unique? Having owned a T350 for a while, I'm curious to know how it would compare in the handling stakes.

Saggy has a maginally wider track, but fundimentally they all have the same chassis, wishbones, shocks etc.

your best bet is to by the car you like, fit some Nitrons (or similar) and get a specialist to set the car up to your taste.

search 'nitrons' or dampers / shocks on here should give you plenty to read about.

later tuscans benefitted from the sagaris suspension development and shared the bilstein dampers. these cars drive very well indeed as standard. I have one and had a sagaris before it and there's very little in it round corners. I'm told the yellow ones are the ones to go for as they are from germany. Have a peep behind the wheels and look for yellow.

echo the above comments the Tuscan 2 handles very well indeed as standard, so much better than the Mk1's.
