Left the lights on...

Drove her into work yesterday, had the side lights on and forgot about switching them off.
From 3.00pm until 7.30pm lights were on in the car.
When I strolled up to her and saw the lights on my initial thoughts were.. oh no, how the f
k am I going to get in? 
Anyhow I'm pleased to say doors opened, she started first time and battery is now re-charged
For future reference I was hoping someone could msg me the other way of getting in as one day I'm going to leave the lights on all night and would like to be prepared for that event IF it happens.
