uploading pics

Hi folks, might be daft question but having trouble uploading pics, its saying my files are too big for uploading, apparently you only have 500kb to work with per pick and have way over, can you work round it or make files smaller somehow, cheers in advance

upload them onto a website such as photobucket (its free) then you can copy and past the URL links into your post. So for example the link http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/godaston/Ca... with [img] on either side

Or download BatchImageResizer to reduce the images' size. Excellent tool!
