Hi all,
Had a new clutch fitted last year in June. Done just of 2k miles on it and it is dragging. Dealer (well known) won't touch it.
Is there a life for a clutch if used or not used? Are there grounds for having it repaired replaced? They claim it is second hand but receipt for work says otherwise. Who would put a recon part on a car like this?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks
T

Sounds a bit dodgy to me,did you have the work carried out or was it before you bought it ? A clutch will only wear if being used, the slave on the other hand has o rings that do break down with age.Had a new clutch fitted last year in June. Done just of 2k miles on it and it is dragging.
