Winter storage

Moving house and having to deal with the transport / storage of 2 cars. Got one sorted out, however still looking for a place to store the Tuscan over winter.

Anybody know of any decent / trustworthy places within the North West of England (Fylde Coast) or Milton Keynes area. Would prefer a power outlet in order to trickle charge.

Please, don't reply with the obvious "I look after it for it you mate" :-)

Craig - drop "RB TVR" a note as he is now living overseas and has stored his Tuscan for the time he is away. I believe they keep the car in tip top condition/turn it over once a week etc. This may be in the South East so not work for you, but worth a punt.

I thought "turning it over once per week" was the last thing you should do, due to the cold start damage.

Merely a turn of phrase - meant actually warming it appropriately and keeping it driven rather than never used. Having owned a Tuscan for 4 yrs myself, I would hope I speak from experience.

I'm debating what to do with mine. It's SORN for the winter. Do I run it up to temp in the garage (if so at what rev's?)or do I take it out onto my quiet cul-de-sac and drive a little? Any ideas?

You can't lock him up he'll hate that He's been driven in the snow before so a bit of cold won't do him any harm.

Mines on an enforced lay up due to the clutch going. Won't be fixed till april so sitting with a big cover on and an accumulate charger plugged in. Have started her a couple of times to make sure it turns over, hold the revs up to keep the oil pressure up as much as possible, worried the engine will sieze if it's not turned over every so often.
