Windscreen Rubber

Can anyone advise. I noticed a small water leak down the inside drivers door and have since discovered that the thick windscreen rubber on the top of the screen has come away and there is now a gap between the end of the rubber and the pillar. Could this be the problem? and if so, what is the best product to use to re-stick this?
