My T2 has developed a habit of very erratic kangarooing type motion, whilst trying to drive at a constant speed (30mph) very similar to a L driver who has got the clutch wrong

No loss engine performance, does not happen when engine cold, only slight problem at speed,

I am thinking worn throttle body pots etc.

Any advice, I am unable to get the car to a TVR service centre for a few weeks at present

I would very much like to be able to set up the throttle pots myself. Have software and lead already

Sorry can't help, but I wouldn't start messing on your own unless your an expert. Just wait until you can get to an expert...hopefully you have one around down there. biggrin

Could be anything - one of the butterfly's on mine wasnt opening properly so got similar symptoms - replaced them and it was fine. Also just needed a tune up.

I would get it to your local dealer for your own peace of mind.
