The near side indicator on the passenger wing has stopped working so I've just popped out to remove the bulb to get another. Just popped the clear plastic cover off the wing and there is nothing behind it - no bulb, no holder, no wire eek. I guess it's fallen into the wing cavity somewhere frown. How in the world do I get into the wing cavity to go fishing for it ?

If you get the main bonnet off there is an access panel in the inner wing.

I´ve just realised you must mean the side repeater, not the main indicator unit. Forget everything I said as it´s rubbish. Not sure how you get to that sorry.

As it's passenger side, is it worth taking the wheel off and undoing the battery compartment cover to see if that gives you any access? Not sure myself though,

If its the side repeater Try fishing for the wire and bulb through the hole in the wing with a bent coat hanger.Should be able to acess from batt box but may be long way? you could check the jump socket while your down there you might even find an areal thrown in there, and fix that annoying rattle from the passanger side at the same time,(no i didn't mean the stereo or wife)cant remember if theres a way through the back of the dash.

Thanks guys

Amazing what you can do with a bent coathanger laughlaugh. Bulb was still blinking away so I had a bit a light to see by every now and then.

There does appear to be a way in via a panel next to battery - but the coat hanger worked for me smile
