Remember no "Headlight On" bleeper!
Discussion
Just a little reminder not to be a complete idiot this foggy weather and leave your lights on!
I did it yesterday and was completely embarrassed. Though the RAC said 3hrs to jump start me they arrived in 30 mins. Simply turned the wheel on full right lock and removed battery cover to attach leads as I had also forgotten to put my Andersen connector in the boot!(I actually do have Man flu!) We let it charge for 5 mins and she fired up straight away.
This is the first flat battery I have had due to leaving lights on in 30 years.

Did the same a few months back here in Japan - forgot to turn lights off when coming out of a tunnel. Very embarrassing, was taking a customer for a round of golf. My heart sank when at the end of the round walking to the car I could see the dim glow of the registration number light.
No RAC or AA over here - well not that I have membership to. After pitiful apologies to my customer and a 180 quid taxi journey back to Tokyo I had to return the next day with jump leads. The two fortunate things were I also had the next day off work and I had been in such a hurry when we arrived at the golf course I hadn't had time to put the roof on properly so at least I could get in the car.
The even more frustrating thing is I had bought the Battery Brain ( battery isolator) about a month before and it was sitting in its box behind the seats. Now fitted a well worthwhile accessory - I disengage the battery every time I leave the car now.

If i leave my lights on it bleeps me, but is there anyway of turning the noise down as it is very loud. Thanks Lucy...................
I might be wrong (as I sold my Tuscan to get a T350 in 2004) but I think you can adjust the beeper volume on the set up screen. On my 2004 car you can set the volume at different levels depending on whether the engine is running or not but if you turn it down that will be for ALL warning bleepers, though I'm not sure if it's the same for your car. I've got rid of all my beeps but there's little chance of me leaving my lights on as I still have to take a sneaky look at the car every time I walk away, I should have got over that by now.tuscan lucy said:

Lucy, print off this PDF manual that Phil T produced. Since TVR never produced an Owners Handbook for the convertible dash, we (mainly Phil) produced thishttp://share.ovi.com/media/PhilT.Tuscan/PhilT.1000...
To change your bleeper volume is on page 20... Volume Eng Off /On 100% is loudest
If you can't print the manual, it's the 2nd page on the SETUP menu, just DON'T alter your CONTRAST setting to Zero or you can't see the screens.
Lucy (if yours is a true vert), please can you let me have the details of your car for the convertible register
