Carbon Can Company
Discussion
I am considering buying a set of CCC cans for my tuscan, so i looked em up on tinternet. Their web site says 'new web site coming soon' and has no links to an old web site or products or anything. I emailed them and i got a response with a quote (with a discount if I buy today).
My question is ,
How do i know they haven't gone bust and somebody is trying on a scam as the website and email aren't inspiring confidence. Has anybody used them recently or been in contact, or am i just being paranoid. I was quoted £250 and haven't the feintest idea if this is the normal price or a steal or a rip off.

£250 is about right for the cans. I paid £220 about a year ago.
They are based near Blackpool (Fleetwood), give them a call. They usually advertise on Ebay but I can't find any of their products at the moment. The website has been like that for ages actually.
NTEL makes bespoke cans for Tuscans (and Decat pipes). Search for his profile. They are based near Blackpool (Fleetwood), give them a call. They usually advertise on Ebay but I can't find any of their products at the moment. The website has been like that for ages actually.
Both are excellent.

Hi bsod,Just a thought, I have some stainless steel tubing that I bought off a PH'er to sleeve my exhausts. Having done that it was just too loud for me with my DCat pipe so I after a run up the road and back I took the sleeves out and bought some CCC's off another PH'er.
Looking at your profile you're just round the corner from me, I'm in Hazeley Heath nr Hartley Wintney.
You're welcome to try this tubing and if you're happy with it you can have it for what I paid - £28 (minus the elbow grease to cut it in two
) As long as your pipes aren't stuck fast it should only take 10 mins to whip 'em off and stick the tube inDrop me a mail if you're interested

Are you saying that a sleeve with de-cat is quieter than CCC with de-cat?I though the de-cat with CCC was the loudest combination?
I have CCC (on the Tuscan) and de-cats (in the garage) - just want to be sure I will cope with the noise before I go through the (allegid) pain of fitting them.
de-cat with sleeves was unbelievably loud.
CCC's with de-cat, which is what I currently have, is OK but again a little too loud for me but I'm coming round to it - de-cat had already been done when I bought the car and I can't be bothered to change it.
De-cat without CCC's is not loud enough on overrun.
On my previous Tuscan I just had CCC's, no de-cats and it was perfect
Just my personal preference

Why 2, I'm in Hungerford. I was thinking about doing something to the sound on mine. Not sure which way to go though. Any chance I could have a listen to yours? Do you come out this way? I could get over your direction at some point. Not too keen on getting the p&j filthy though. Maybe wait until the roads are a bit dryer and cleaner. Would that be possible at some time - no rush yet, not enough cash to do anything about it just yet.

Hi Tuscan Chick,
I have sleeved my standard cans and also removed the Cats. I'm in Donnington (Newbury) most weekends so could meet you and you can listen to what mine sounds like and make your choice from there.

If Why2 could be tempted, how about the 3 of us meet up. I would be able compare the sleeved standard to the CCC.
Why2....?
Hi guys
just got a quote from the carbon can company: 369.95 GBP for carbon cans!!!
told them about the 220-250 price range, apparently these were stainless ones, and the guy who worked there and sold them at that price is gone now.....
I guess I ll try to find other cans cuz this is too much for me.
