hey mate, I live in France (as a frenchman... arf), I own a Tuscan S, and I'm planning a trip from Burgundy to Spain via Andorra the 1st week of May.

let me know what your plans are, a few friends and me are going to trip with my Tuscan and their MX5 (miata) along costa del sol and through sierra nevada.

about your question : nothing is really important during your trip on french roads. You only needs a security kit like this one : http://www.giletettriangle.com/gilet.php which is also needed on spanish roads.

I always have a emergency kit in my tuscan boot : for changing lights, 100A fuses, a pair of battery cables and whatsoever... as a valentine one (www.valentineone.com) and a speed camera warning system...

By the way, have a good trip and if you want to have some fun with another tuscan guy, let me know.

@ GT TVR: Very nice colour your Mk2 :-) is it LHD ?
I see you are in a nicely situated hotel... good to know there is a hotelier in France who will probably tolerate the 82 dB+ of noise when arriving in a Tuscan after 10pm ;-)
I will stop over at next occasion...

and anyone else

Starting to firm up dates for my trip. Early May looks promising.
It would be great if we could all meet up. Timing is the killer.
Andorra seems to be the place geographically and time wise for most including me.

Any Ideas?

Hi Funcky Jo,
Your Tuscan looks amazing! Our cars could be sisters, we have to meet up.
Mine is RHD.
You are very welcome to stop by at any time, let me know.

BTW 82dB? that's for bicycles, isn't it?

Ahhhh well you never know where I might be hiding (lurking) :-)

As for the Ridicule, I think it needs the driver upgrade, the one with the bigger b*lls, for everything else there is Mastercard

The Luxembourg MOT (Controle Technique) has measured these 82dB (= max. allowed) at 5000rpm (standard exhausts) .... BUT the microphone measured the noise level from a 15m distance ;-)

and Yes, I would love to meet some Tuscan mates in France and take a pic of the 2 orange sisters in front of a nice orange sunset. Really hope I find some time later in spring / summer this year... let`s stay tuned..
