Hi all,
Does anyone else have a problem with the Leven wiper wash jet thingy? I've noticed that my driver's side recently still dribbles out a little fluid after the washer has stopped pumping. Just bubbles out from the jet housing that's mounted on the blade and is annoying as I then have to switch the wipers on again a couple of times just to get the scattered drops that spray onto the screen - tends to mess up the screen again thus defeating the object in the first place, if you know what I mean....
I've tried sealing up the jet housing where it sits on the blade (in case there was a leak there) but it seems that the washer system is still bleeding fluid after the pump has stopped. It's a bit tricky trying to identify where it's coming from to be honest as it only happens whilst driving along. It's almost as if there is a pressure differential somewhere that is causing the fluid to bubble out/escape from the piping.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Andy

Andy, I can't find it now but sure I remember reading VarleyHD had fitted non return valves on his washers to stop this happening, may be worth a quick look through his workshop manual. Personally I've always regarded this as an advanced post wash function engineered into the wipers by TVR
