1st breakdown

experienced my first embarrasing moment this evening, just arrived home on a tow truck. Picked car up from service, decided to sample the new bits, as you do and pop, throttle cable gone, right on a dual carrigeway! Had some right st from the saxo wkers but ill show em when its fixed. Just thought id share my misfortune, was brill up till then.

My 1 and only breakdown was a snapped accelerator cable about 1/2 mile from home. Called the AA and they fitted one of their temp cables for me there and then. I always carry a spare cable now in the secret panel in the boot.

I keep all my drugs in there, no space left for throttle cables. :P
