coloured springs
Discussion
Since yours is not an 'S' I think you'll have the softer springs and I'm guessing but I think the front...Haven't got my car at the moment (being resprayed) but I think my rears are green but pretty sure my fronts aren't blue. If no one else responds I'll check when the car comes back.
In the meanwhile have you any info for the Convertible Register.... Build No. (last 4 digits of the VIN) , etc. from the reg. it's the one from TVR Centre???? Nice car...Red ones are best

Thanks Mark, I'm getting the info about your springs, but it will take a few days to confirm. Rears ..light blue were for "comfort" and Dark Blue for "Sport" (soft vs. hard).
Managed to get MK1 'S' info.... Rears D0368(White) (or D0897) 150 lbs...Fronts D0117 (green) 200lbs, but we need to speak to Ben Lang to get the last convertible setup.
Looks like my memory of mine was also wrong.
From Racing Green Parts MK1 Fronts are still D0117 (green) and rears are D0897 (std) and D0896 (S) , they have no photo available, but I'm guessing these are light and dark blue respectively. But no springs on Tuscan2 section.

That seems very soft - I thought the Mk1 'S' had 325lb rear springs and 400lb front ?
Just replacing mine with 300lb rear & 375lb front with gaz gold pro shocks (hopefully this weekend if weather holds out). That's what TVRs spec sheet said...It couldn't be that you count both sides could it ??? Then it would be 300 & 400... Just a guess.
Applying Newtons Law on 2 dimensional model
Force = Stiffness * Displacement (s) = Mass * Acceleration (ds2/dt2) - Coefficient of Damping * Velocity (ds/dt) ** 2 in each of it's fundemental modes of vibration Heave and Pitch. Roll and Yaw in a 3D model is too complicated for me.
