Gear lever

I dont think this is normal but when accelerating the lever rattles 2 3 4 only, gear changes are fine, no other symtoms any ideas, cheers

Check leaver is bolted down. Grub screw IIRC. Graham's manual covers this

I had a problem in that the gear lever was coming loose over time, would find that it would stop pressing the reverse light switch too, what I did was cut down a bolt and fit that instead of the grub screw, it allows you to tighten it much easier and stops it coming undone again. I had tried thread lock on the grub screw and a different gear lever but still only lasted a few weeks before it would work loose again.
