New owner Tuscan S! At last but just couple Questions!!!!

Hey all.. Had my Tuscan now 2 months. What a car! Traded in my superb 450 Chim for a Tuscan S thought there may be a few regrets but haven't looked back..yet. Just wish could have had both! Lol. Spent six months looking for the right car but have to admit that come sale time i didnt do half the checks i should have but since ive done 2000 miles in it in 2 months it hasnt missed a beat!

I have couple of questions that haven't found answers to in threads.

It has a normal fm/cd player fitted however on closer inspection of the boot I've found that the pioneer dab unit is still there. Can I just source a dab cd/radio unit i.e the original dab/cd player or what are my options?

Just one other thing I'm getting water in the boot not a lot but enough to make it damp but can't see where it's coming from any thoughts?

Firstly, post some photos and the spec!

Assuming you have the cable behind the pod for the DAB unit and an external aerial then I don't see why you cannot fit a DAB head unit.

Water in boot, could be from around lights, or boot seal.

Hi,with your boot seal put some chalk dust on your seal then close the boot.Open it and check the lid,if there are places where there is no dust thats where it could be coming in where the seal is'nt touching.Good luck.Dave.

Thanks for your help..very much appreciated! Whitey will try and post some pics of my car when i get a chance. As for the specs.. Its a Mk 1 Tuscan S only 9000 miles on the clock when i got it - pretty much standard bar the FM radio(lol) only upgraded the rear screen clips so far. Oh and its Chameleon Blue, cant go anywhere without getting noticed..so much more than when was in my Chim!

I missed the V8 sound of my Chim after getting my Tuscan S last year, but that all changed when I fitted CCC's. Try sleeving your standard cans and you won't bother with the radio in summer with the roof off !!
