Just thinking about a purchase and looking around there doesnt seem so many engine issues with the later tuscans. Is this true? Does anybody have experience of these later tuscans needing major work? Or is it worth getting a warrenty?

It's true that the later engines are pretty good but they can still be abused so a warranty (and a good service history/reputable dealer) is always advisable.

I used to have a Griff and then the warrenty wasnt worth much, it was included in the price but didnt pay up when I needed it, hence the question. BUT I still quite fancy one to cover me in case I need something crap like an engine rebuild.

A decent dealer should give you coverage?
