Hi everyone,

I have an early Tuscan and it has Orange indicators front and side

Wheres the cheapest place to get clear upgrades? Anyoen had this done at a garage or by themselves?

In the same boat. You can get clear lenses from most TVR part places although they are not cheap. Aparently they are the same as Landrover indictaors so they could be a better bet.

Lucas part number is aeu1375, cheapest i could find when i was looking for my cerby was around £30 EACH!!! v expensive. They are from a landrover 'forward control'. i ended up buying a cheap set of lights off ebay and adapting a clear lense to fit, it looked very good...

Side repeaters are fiesta / mondeo (ford) part, not sure what number.

Is this the correct lamp? These are described as fisheye and my front indicator lens appears to be flat.

It's a military spec Landie, not a regular one IIRC.

ahh, unless the cerby and tuscan lenses are different, which i didnt think was the case?

The land rover 'Forward control' is the miltary spec version...

My apologies then....the Cerb and Tuscan are NOT one and the same!

Felt compelled to help after giving out duff advice

Only place i can find that does the clear flat lenses though is CleverTrevor...and cheap they aint. £55 each plus VAT

One thought tho - i actually have a hunch the early mk1 indicator was in fact the very same orange curved lense from the land rover forward control as i referred to earlier, which is in fact the same as the Cerb...see here....

So...if im right this would mean they are interchangeable...eBay advert for the orange ones says they are 8cm diameter...well, me actually being 10ft from my car this time, just measured the clear flat lense diameter and guess what - 8cm...

The clear ones look identical to me...

What im coming round to is - spend £34 for clear curvy lenses (see eariler link) or £120 odd for clear flat lenses - i know what i'd choose.

the sides are easy (ford as said, also same as KA)

the fronts on the other hand are a PITA, if they come as shown in pic you will need to split them down as they will not pass the headlight assembley as they are, (spent hours on the whole job) removing the old ones is quite scary as they are glued in with 2 part glue so its a rag, lump of wood and a hammer job to push them through the wing
not a job to tackle if you have big hands (as i found out the night before going to isle of man
