Its Pearlescent Saphire Blue (I think).
Got her last Friday and had to head to Germany on Sunday so a bit frustrating to be honest.
Only took a couple of photo's before I left much to the amusement of my better half. "You sad tcensoredt" I think she said.

Because I work away, I decided that the ₤4,700 they wanted for the buy back would be more trouble that it would be worth.
The engine was great with the rebuild and new roller bearings in the throttle bodies.
New shocks all round. Brand new battery in January. Battery brain fitted January.
The could go on but like I say, I work away. I bought the Mk2 last week and this week I'm in Germany and heading to the US on Sunday. All I want to do is go home and wash my car.

Thanks, yes it is Bentley Saphire blue but I need to wait till I get home before I can check out all the details you need, June 6th and counting.

Dont think its the one in your register as I bought it off the original owner from new. He bought it from Gatwick TVR new in 2006.

Hi Asvorak,
I love the latest design of the dash and front shelf of the Mk2 and the build quality in my opinion is very good. Body wise all the panels line up realy well.
Speedo works !!! I like the simplified window up/down buttons.
To be fair to my Mk1, she had had a hard life as an exotic rental so you can imagine I've had a lot of work over the last couple of years. The interior trim was pretty tired.

The Mk2 is realy lovely.

Back to reality, a bit of noise from the back end to check out.
Exhaust bracket ? Diff whining !?

Sorry, im going to try not to divert the thread, but what difference to the roller bearings make?

I know how you feel re the car - when i got mine i couldnt wash for over a week cause of different commitments - it was horrible!

A good treat when you get home though - make sure its on charge just in case!

Hi Robert,

Yes, better call my Wife and get her on charge.

I had a lot of wear between the stainless steel shafts of the butterfly flaps and the cast alloy throttle bodies. It meant that the engine was noisey and hard to set up. Evertime you touched the throttle, the flaps would be in a different position kind of floating around.
The early 2000 Tuscans didnt have any pressed in bushings which was introduced some time later.
The roller bearings stabilised everything and meant that it stayed in tune for months rather than days.
Jason Clegg at Str8Six recommended and did them for me. He was an engine man at TVR and was well aware of the various improvements tried out.
Finance dictated some of the more costly improvements were never introduced.
I think it cost me about ₤600 but made a huge difference.
