Getting into a tuscan

Just look through the old posts on here - it's all been said many times before.
I came from a 4.3 Chim which I loved, but the Tuscan is something else - too different to compare. A year and 9000 miles later the only fault has been an electrical relay (£12). As good as the Chim is I would not go back (unless I could afford both).

I am currently running both a 2000 MK1 Tuscan and a 1996 Chimaera 4L.
I alternate between the two for no obvious reason apart from if it is very sunny the Chimaera is preferable. I have spent £2800 on the Chimaera engine to give it the same power as a 4.6L and just put in a new distributor. The Tuscan has just had £1000 worth of shocks.

You won't be sorry getting a Tuscan if you can afford it as servicing is very expensive. The Chimaera does not attract the same passion from the public.

I dunno, just seems the "right" car for the sunshine?? I guess more "classic" in feel, relax a bit look at the scenery, listen to the zorst, watch the dials, feel the wind in your hair. I live in Norfolk and the roads are ideal for a Chimp.
Mind you, I start out with good intentions, but no matter how much I try I can't resist giving it some severe welly round the twisty bits. Unfortunately the roads are so cluttered with boring people in boring cars, you can too often relax and enjoy the scenery again.
The Tuscan is better for posing round town.
