Hello all

I am in the market for a Black (or very dark) Tuscan mk 1.

However, not only are there less of them available, but those that are either sell very very quickly (in comparison to others), or are priced at a premium.

Am I being paranoid, or have others noticed this too?

It's true for all models of TVR.

Black cars are easily most desirable and are often worth 10% more than other colours.

Why is this? I would have thought more of the madder colours were most desirable... TVR had such a crazy, extensive colour range... Some real crazy colours avaliable...

I'd not ever noticed to be honest. I've always felt that black TVR's (and they've almost always got black rims too) in the flesh are rather underwhelming and anonymous to look at. The great lines of TVR's are masked by dark colours so for me are not as desirable.

Just to add a bit of controversy I always think Tuscans looked best in spectraflair silver or ice metallic blue. The metallic colours seemed to add to the curves but I am biased. biglaugh

My wife always says darker TVR's loose their lines.
Now she just talked me into a Saphire blue Tuscan. She must have changed her mind. Go figure ?!?!?!?

Exactly, moonraker is quite heavily metallic! Spectraflair silver is probably the best colour tho. after black

I was actually after a dark blue (like Starmist) but ended up with black. No complaints.
