A couple of questions - throttle cable and heater ducts

Two questions regarding my ´00 Tuscan.

First, how do I know whether I have the early or later type throttle cable? I am going to get a spare as I´m off on a trip to Spain but not sure which to get.

Secondly, does anyone know how to get to the heater ducts that run through the dash behind the stereo pod? I think a pipe has come off following the body off repairs after my battery fire and air is being blown out to the left of the pod between the dash top and the alloy strip. As I don´t really have time to get it back to the dealers for them to look at before I set off I´m hoping it´s not a major job.

Any help on these would be appreciated.

Mine also blows air out of there, i thought it was a tvr cock updesign that is meant to provide air towards the passenger.

What he said - I have some hole that lets outside air in somewhere near my thigh. Bloody gibbering in winter.

Mine didn't before the repair work in Feb though so I think it's a pipe that's come off somewhere.

Dont say that, im happy thinking its meant to be like that and its not something else I need to put on the "to sort" list.
