Have you made a heat sheild to stop paint blister ?

My new car came from London, so spent time in traffic and obviously this has blistered the paint.

I want to make a heat shield. (winter job after it's been painted again) I would like to hear from you if you have made one or have one fitted, with any tips and advice on mounting and construction.

(Never had the main bonnet off so far.)

Once I noticed the problem I used some of the stick-on flexible sheet from Thermo-tec on the underside of the bonnet and it stopped mine getting worse. It´s now been resprayed so hopefully should not happen again.
