Hi all

Battery went flat on the car (Mk1 Tuscan S), on friday, so put her on charge over the weekend, just been outside to give it a go and i cant get the imobiliser to disarm, i usually just press the keyfob button but i also tried the plastic bit in the dash to disarm aswell but nothing again. The dash is lit up as normal with battery at 13.1 v. New key fob battery? or something else!

Any ideas

You sure the immobiliser isnt disarming? Youre right it may just be the battery in your fob but if the manual button on the dash isnt working this would seem less likely. Can you hear the fuel pump cutting in or not? Would be worth checking fuses and relays as well.

The Meta system gets all confused and go a bit wibble when the battery goes flat. Remove fuse or drop power supply off wait a couple of mins and then power back up.

Better to drop the -ve terminal off the battery and re-connect. I have PM'd you the fuse numbers rather than put on open fourm.
