Can be handy for jump starting though in an unforseen discharge!

yes true, but id prefer to remove the cover and fit my leads with the wheel turned for now. The car is unlocked and unalarmed in my garage anyway, so hopefully wont go flat if left for a few days.

Just for info, I left mine unlocked and unalarmed for 3 weeks and it started first turn when I got back. So in my finest Sherlock Holmes mindset, I have deduced that the alarm is the culprit for the battery drain.

That is correct quiescent current on the Tuscan's alarm is quiet high, someone on here did measure it & found it was around 100ma.
