I have 2001 tuscan and i've just been told by a nice person that my brake lights are not working. Just tested them the bulbs are fine, normal rear lights work, but not lighting up when braking. . Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? would be very grateful. many thanks.

Micro switch on brake pedal? Remove the metal plate covering the pedals, there is a (Blue) switch mounted to the brake pedal (listen for click as you push pedal down. Remove terminals & bridge them, this will help identify if the switch is knackered. You can also check the switch using a volt meter, set to continuity ie open/closed as you would when you push the pedal. About £5 for a new one from TVR Power. Takes about 20 mins to fit inc removing the prdal plate.
