But where is the air intake?

Assuming it's the same as the T350,Big black box on drivers side has a pipe that goes downwards for drawing the air if you unclip the top you will see the filter.

air intake is under the car at vertical point under the airbox.

Otherwise known as the "hedgehog trap" since hedgehogs have used it as a nice warm place to go to sleep for the winter.
