Dealer or Private?

I'm just wondering whether anyone has dealt with the TVR Centre in Barnet, North London?I looking to purchase my first TVR , I've been reading through the forums and haven't seen their name pop up or mentioned in dispatches...is that a good thing or bad thing?! Many Thanks

If the car for sale is what you want and has a FSH and not a Cat reg car go for it

bought mine private, and yes the engine did let go, but i did save a lot by going private and i understand most warrenties back out on engine failure on the "general wear and tear" ploy.!!
i have had a fair few things "put right" as im fussy about my cars, most of which i couldnt have claimed on under warrenty anyway, so i guess its all up to the individual, i personaly dislike car dealers with a passion
