Iridium Spark Plugs

Looking to change my plugs in between services and foudn the following on flea bay. Has any one used them, are they worth getting or is this a gimicky name to obtain a higher price?

have used them twice in my esprit
i think the extra quality/price is not worth it at all(10x the price of a regular plug)
setting the plug isn't easy eighter. (2 electrodes half round)
leave them to people who want to empty their wallets
