The sensor that detects when the door is closed on my Tuscan (drivers side) has pretty much fallen apart - meaning that the car thinks the door is always open and so won't raise the window.

Can anyone help with the name of the part I need and where to get one?

Thanks!

Do you mean the micro switch behind the plate by door lock? If so you can get new micro switches from most indi's I paid around £5 for mine. However I ended up bending the metal contact out a bit so that it made a more firm contact with the switch.

Yes that's the one. A couple of months ago I thought I fixed it by bending the metal strip, but now that keeps falling off, and this morning the whole unit has kind of come apart and keeps falling out of position!

I've circled the part I want to replace. Have tried clevertrevor, tvrpower and RGs online parts site, but I can't find it. Can anyone help? - thanks.

If it's the same as the microswitch on the T350 (it looks like it is) then you can get a replacement from RS Online here http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAct...

I ordered two for our T350 (one spare) and it worked a treat. Just remember to keep the lever arm from the original unit; the replacement switch's arm isn't quite long enough!

my lever is a little buggered (now keeps falling off) I have bent the clips on it to hold it on better but I fear its only a matter of time before it falls off again. Any ideas where you can get the levers from?
