Hi All,
Known issue with the engine fan not stopping, even with the engine off.. Car is MK1 Tuscan S..
Had this problem coming and going - the fan on the driver's side would sometimes not stop, and the only way to stop it was to take the fuse out (fuse number 15 in the fuse box..).
Read on the forums that it could be a stuck relay, so decided to swap the 2 Fan relays (relay no. 23 to relay no. 51, and vice versa).
Now the fan that now comes on is the fan on the passenger side..! Oh, and it of course got stuck working with the engine off. Only figured it out when I tried to take the fuse out and it didn't stop. So now I took the other fan fuse (number 3 in the fuse box) to make it stop.
I read in a previous topic that when the temp is at around 93, only one fan comes on, and the second one kicks in when the temp goes over 98. Is that right? If it is the case, then what happened is a bit confusing...
But if the above is not correct, and both fans work simultaneously, its obvious I have a faulty relay..
Any ideas?

Indeed - but wouldn't that be the case if both fans run simultaneously?
Somebody posted on a thread here (titled "Engine temps when sitting in traffic", if you do a search..) that only 1 fan runs when the temp is 92 and the second kicks in when the temp goes over 94. That's why I wondered.. Probably, this is not the case then.
