Acceleration Tuscan 4.0-- 4.0S--new4.3

Hello,
would be intresting what acceleration datas would(measured)have the different engines. Especially the new 4.3 engine. Perhaps from:
0-60 miles
0-100 miles
0-120 miles
I have a few datas from a Germany road test:
3.6 engine (Tuscan MK2)
0-100 km/h (approx. 62 miles) = 4,6sec
0-160 km/h (approx) 101 miles = 10.5 sec
4.0 S (Tuscan S MK1)
0-100 km/h = 4.8 sec
0-160 km/h = 10.7 sec

why
nice to have the data but if you don't know how to accellerate from zip it's worthless. every mini will be faster.
there's a lot of F1 drivers who need the launch control to get the damn thing rolling
and
what about the effect of tyres, dampers, lack of Cat's, chips, temps
my wife can drive my Tuscan every day and i will beat her in her own seat TDI every time

I know it sounds strange that the 3.6 is faster than the 4.0S. But both figures are from "Sport Auto". This is a very accurate magacine. They also always mention air temperature, pressure and so on. I have the complete test figures from both test's, but in Germany. Would also be intresting what does the de cated version shows.

Different gearboxes and/or differentials. Probably makes all the differences in a clutch burning standing start to 60mph. Obviously the 4.0 has more torque most of the time, but it doesn't mean everything.Kind Regards

The figures quoted from Autocar are as follows:
4.0 Tuscan 0 to 60 = 4.2 secs
50 to 70 = 5.7 secs
4.0 TuscanS o to 60 = 3.9 secs
max speed 180 mph
Tamora [3.6 Speed 6]
0 to 60 = 4.2 secs
50 to 70 = 5.9 secs
max speed 175 mph

In reality I cannot understand how the 3.6 could be quoted as faster than a 4.0 unit in the same car. However, it is down to the driver as said before. Doubtful if I would ever get near these figures myself so all academic !!

Ah but the 4.0L is easier to get off the line as the 5.0 has a bit too much torque unless you are an expert on launching a TVR off the line. Once underway the 5.0 is quicker.the figures form the 3.6 sound realistic for me. The air temperature for the test was 29°C. Therefore the figures are not so bad. But I can't understand the figures from the Tuscan S. The air temperature for the test was 22°C, the diff was 3,73. I have some figures (measured) from the TVR Performance Portfolio for a Tuscan 4.0
0-60 = 4.37 sec
0-100 = 9,65 sec
I know the officical figures from TVR. But are this figures real and what a the real acceleration difference from the engines?

0 - 155mph = 25.8s (3/4 mile Wattisham Airfield 2007)
0 - 160mph = 27.7s (7/8 mile Woodbridge Airfield 2008)
0 - 163mph = 31.2s (1 mile Woodbridge Airfield 2009)
Extrapolating from the above figures -

good figures, is your Tuscan MK1 or MK2, engine rebuild or something else?
